From Trash to Bling

Rummage through our reuse wall for "trash" that you can turn into treasures like necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings! With some basic jewelry making techniques, learn how to be both fashionable and sustainable!

C4C Sessions are informal, explorative, hands-on experiences led by Pitt people with a passion for creating. You do not need to be a professional to lead a Session, and participants need no prior experience in the topic.

Amateurs and beginners are welcome: all you need is an open mind and a willingness to play! All materials and supplies are provided.

Facilitated by Stephanie Jimenez, Center for Creativity: The Workshop. Stephanie has spent most of her life studying piano but has recently begun to focus on recycle art. She is the Community Outreach Executive Board member for the Latinx Student Association, and is pursuing dual degrees in environmental science and global and popular music.

This workshop is free and open to all members of the University of Pittsburgh community: students, faculty, and staff.  Pre-registration is required.

Thursday, November 8 at 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
