Dr. Adams is Lars Magnus Ericsson Chair and Dean of the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas, and President of the American Society for Engineering Education.

During this Black History Month celebration she will share the trials, tribulations and joys of her life and her journey from two-time college drop out to industry, academia, consulting, and government, and now to Dean at the University of Texas.
