The University of Pittsburgh’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute, the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh, the New Pittsburgh Courier, and UPMC’s Center for Engagement and Inclusion are thrilled to announce a new theme for the 2023 iteration of the Community Health Series Partnership: the Social Determinants of Health (SDoH).

The February 2023 cycle will focus on cancer disparities and an innovative way to understand how patients feel about the quality of cancer care. Resources, engagement opportunities, and action steps to take charge of your health will also be a highlight.

Join us on February 9th as we hear from Monica Baskin, Associate Director of Community Outreach and Engagement and Associate Director for Health Equity at the Hillman Cancer Center and Mary Herbert, Clinical Director at the Birmingham Free Clinic.
