The Fall 2025 Safety Symposium is a collaborative event hosted by the Student Government Board (SGB), Department of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), and Pitt Police to educate students, staff, and faculty about safety resources and health habits at Pitt.

There will be many student organizations, university departments, and local Pittsburgh groups will provide self-defense tips, public transportation guidelines, healthy nutritional habits, and environmental practices—you can even practice extinguishing a real fire at the EH&S Fire Safety Demonstrations and earn a free t-shirt!

The Pitt Vaccination and Health Connection HUB @ University Pharmacy will be offering flu and COVID-19 vaccines/boosters for Pitt students and employees.

Join us on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the William Pitt Union Lawns and Lower Lounge. In the event of incident weather, the fair will be moved to the William Pitt Union Ballroom. No registration is required, and free pizza, snacks, and drinks will be provided for all attendees.
