Exploring Mental Health with Doctor Mike

As a part of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Pitt Program Council invites you to join this interactive conversation with YouTube's Doctor Mike! This webinar with feature a discussion about mental health in both a college setting and in the challenging times of the coronavirus pandemic with opportunity for students to ask Dr. Varshavski questions live throughout the event.

Dr. Mikhail "Mike" Varshavski D.O. is a Family Medicine Doctor in New York City whose social media presence began when he was in medical school to combat the notion that "you can't have a life in medical school". He went viral in the media after being named "the Sexiest Doctor Alive" by People magazine. now with 6.18 million subscribers, Dr. Varshavski decided to use this opportunity to impact his audience through his videos in the hopes of inspiring them to make better health decisions and to facilitate those conversations. He also uses his platform to help young people achieve their goals through his foundation, Limitless Tomorrow, which provides scholarships to students.
