A curated display of modern African-American poetry and related items. This contemporary, circulating collection is part of the relationship between the ULS and CAAPP (Center for African American Poetry & Poetics) in the Dietrich School. As authors visit Pitt for lectures and workshops, Lauren Russell, assistant director of CAAPP, and Robin Kear, liaison librarian for English, curate the items. To recognize these authors and their contributions, they sign their books for our collection. To browse all of the items visit https://pitt.libguides.com/caapp
