Exercise & Protein Supplementation in Critically Ill Patients

Critical Care Medicine Grand Rounds hosts physician-scientist Renee Stapleton, MD, PhD, who studies novel therapies in critically ill patients including exercise and nutrition. She is a co-PI for the NEXIS trial that looks at the use of cycle ergometry and amino acid supplementation in patients with acute respiratory failure who are on a ventilator. Dr. Stapleton is from the University of Vermont.
