DESCRIPTION:This training will demonstrate how to examine specific case inf
 ormation through the trauma lenses discussed in “Basic Training in Child Tr
 auma”. Utilizing real case information\, we walk through the process of ana
 lyzing developmental history\, trauma\, and relationship information from t
 he client to better understand the impact of early traumatic experiences on
  their current psychological functioning. The analysis includes insights de
 rived from viewing children’s behavior as a non-verbal form of communicatio
 n. We then consider how this information can inform treatment approaches ta
 ilored to each provider’s own setting. Participants will also receive infor
 mation regarding secondary traumatic stress and supports using reflective s
 upervision.This training is appropriate for all mental health professionals
  working with children and adolescents.\n\nThere is no cost to attend the e
