The Influence of Race and Income on the Illness Experience of Breast Cancer

Abstract: This session will analyze the influence of race and income on patients’ experience of breast cancer and identify clinical and social factors contributing to racial disparity in breast cancer care. It will conclude with evidence-based strategies for addressing such disparities in clinical care and health research.
