Lecturing in the Remote and Online Environments

Monday, March 16, 2020 1:00pm to 2:30pm

Free Event

Conducting remote lectures poses several logistic, pedagogical, and technical challenges. In this workshop we will provide the answers to several common questions concerning live and recorded video lectures. We will offer evidence-based guidance for carrying out remote lectures. This workshop will finish by highlighting several tools you can use to conduct your remote lectures (e.g., Panopto, recorded PowerPoints, Zoom).

These workshops are just-in-time, focused discussions on a specific topic related to teaching remotely. All workshops will be conducted via Zoom, are approximately one hour in length, and all times are EST.
