Essentials for Remote Teaching

Monday, March 16, 2020 12:30pm to 1:30pm

Free Event

For many instructors, taking a face-to-face course to an online format seems like a daunting task – especially on a tight timeline. This workshop is designed to get you over that barrier and jump start your remote teaching experience. We will focus on what factors are truly necessary for a rewarding distance learning experience for you and your students, with the goal of a smooth and successful transition for your course. Faculty will leave this session with a clear understanding of where to start, what to focus on, and how to successfully implement their remote teaching experience.

These workshops are just-in-time, focused discussions on a specific topic related to teaching remotely. All workshops will be conducted via Zoom, are approximately one hour in length, and all times are EST.
