This webinar provides an introduction to Equity Impact Reviews (EIR). An EIR is a systemic process to review a policy, program, or service to maximize its impact on equity and minimize unintended negative consequences. Participants will review examples of policy, systems, and environmental changes. Participants will learn the steps involved in conducting an EIR and will explore the impacts of unintended consequences. A variety of sample EIR Tools will be presented and discussed. Participants will practice conducting a mini-EIR to promote equitable practices within their own organizations.
