This webinar is an introduction to health equity and how it applies to public health initiatives and strategies in both the public and private sector. Participants will review health disparities/inequities and how race, culture, and identity are important to equitable health solutions. Participants will also discuss how to identify root causes of health inequities. This webinar includes a variety of instructional methods including group discussion and interactive learning activities.
