Cyert Professor of Molecular Oncology in the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at the University of Pittsburgh. He is also the Co-Leader of the Genome Stability Program at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Dr. Van Houten will be giving a talk titled, "Watching DNA repair one molecule at a time: seeing is believing."
