A State of the Field on Inclusive Student Success Practices for Autistic College Students
Hosted by the University Center for Teaching and Learning and the Office of the Provost Student Success Team at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Brett Ranon Nachman's talk will explore the current landscape of support and advocacy for autistic college students. Dr. Nachman will review existing research and best practices and offer actionable recommendations to create a more equitable college environment.
The session will focus on strategies for faculty and staff development to improve preparedness and effectiveness in supporting autistic students. By bridging research and practice, this talk provides valuable insights into enhancing institutional readiness and implementing strategies that foster student success.
