Over the course of three half-day, live online sessions (Feb. 13th, 20th, 27th | 8:00–12:00 ET), participants gain clear insight into the forces shaping Energy Transition and learn how to adapt proven programs and strategies to their unique context.
With 50+ years of combined experience in Energy Systems and Resilience Strategies, our workshop leaders provide Frameworks to understand the immediate impact of Energy Transition, Tools to identify, prioritize, and develop strategic actions, and The Forum to produce an implementable set of prioritized steps for building resilient value.
Program deliverables (you will leave with):
1. Prioritized Action Steps informed by organizational and decision-making frameworks to take immediate action related to Energy Transition.
2. Executive-ready Brief summarizing implications, options, and recommended actions.
3. Access to future, online Quarterly Progress Discussions to accelerate implementation with the support of the Center for Sustainable Business.

Focus: Energy Transition Overview, Resilience Framework overview; major risks & uncertainties; regulatory considerations; challenges and opportunities, examples of successful industry-specific models.
- Day 2 — Profitable Opportunities & Scenario Planning

Focus: Identifying opportunities within Energy Transition; possibility-scenario activity; building a business case that leverages on opportunities while managing risks.
- Day 3 — Prioritized Action Steps

Focus: Transformational scenario activity; cohort-based learning; finalize prioritized action steps and executive brief.

Continuing Professional Education Eligibility
This program qualifies as a non-credit professional development offering through the University of Pittsburgh School of Business, an accredited institution of higher education.
Under Pennsylvania Board of Accountancy regulation (49 Pa. Code § 11.62), and comparable standards in other jurisdictions, programs offered by accredited universities may qualify for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit when the content contributes directly to professional competence.
This course also meets the standards for professional development applicable to a broad range of business and management credentials (e.g., accounting, finance, analytics, HR, project management, and leadership).
Participants seeking to apply ReSET toward their continuing-education requirements should verify applicability with their own credentialing organizations. The Center for Sustainable Business will provide a completion certificate documenting program hours, content, and learning outcomes upon request for professional-development records.
