Presented by Farrah Jacquez, PhD, professor of psychology and assistant vice president of research at the University of Cincinnati. Her research focuses on community-partnered approaches to health equity, participatory research scholarship, and broadening participation in science. Currently, Jacquez works with immigrants and refugees in Cincinnati on efforts to understand and promote social connection and civic engagement.
Jacquez will join us to discuss her recent research article Immigrant Perpectives of Social Connection in a Nontraditional Migration Area published in Healthcare this year.
Open to the community, in addition to faculty, students and staff. We hope to get new practice, writing, and research collaborations undeway!
