Research Support for Pitt Faculty in the Health Sciences

The Office of Research, Health Sciences supports faculty across Pitt’s six Schools of the Health Sciences — Dental Medicine, Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health. Services include:

  • Personalized grant writing support from PhD-level staff
  • Scientific and editorial feedback through multiple proposal drafts
  • Help identify funding opportunities
  • Oversight of internal programs like the Competitive Medical Research Fund (CMRF) and Bridge Funding

 

The Office of Academic Career Development, Health Sciences (OACD) supports the professional growth of faculty, trainees, and students in the health sciences. Through career development programming and mentorship, OACD empowers graduate and medical students, postdocs, residents, clinical associates, and faculty to thrive in research, teachiing, and clinical roles. The office promotes inclusive leadership and excellence across the academic health sciences.
