Black history? A bake off? What could be better? Join us for Douglass Day at Pitt on Friday, February 14th from 12-3 PM in the Robert Henderson Language Media Center (CL G17). This year, we’ll virtually join the national Douglass Day broadcast from the Library of Congress and transcribe material from the African American Perspectives Collection! Refreshments will be provided and, if you wish to compete in the Douglass Day Bake Off, bring sweets to share or post a photo on social media using #DouglassDay. Black history is American history, so join us on February 14th to eat treats, transcribe documents, learn about our history, and become part of it by participating in Douglass Day at Pitt!
