This virtual workshop – hosted by the University Counseling Center, will focus on developing distress tolerance skills, which teaches us how to tolerate and survive situations without making things worse. These skills teach us how to accept and enter into a situation that maybe not be a situation we hoped for or wanted. In particularly, distress tolerance skills enable us to tolerate painful events, urges, and emotions when we cannot make things better right away. Register here.
