Klein (Columbia University) joins Pitt Professor Shirin Fozi (HAA) and Professor James Pickett (History) for a discussion of his recent work entitled "From Robert College to the Byzsantine Institute: The American Contribution to the Rediscovery, Study, and Preservation of Byzantine Monuments in Istanbul, ca. 1830-1950" and how it informs our understanding of Europe in the Medieval period.
