About this Event
The archaeology departments at Newcastle University and the University of Pittsburgh will hold a virtual workshop entitled “Digging Transatlantic Synergies”. The aim is to learn about the diverse research in archaeology at both institutions, explore opportunities for collaboration in research and teaching, as well as funding and exchange opportunities for staff and students. It is also a great opportunity to expand your professional network and meet new colleagues in an informal setting.
The workshop will be held via Zoom on the 21st and 22nd of October 2021 from 9 am – 12 pm (GMT-4, Eastern Standard Time) / 2-5 pm (GMT+1). Please save the date – more information on the program and how to register will follow soon. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you!
In the meanwhile, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions (m.l.schumacher2@newcastle.ac.uk).
