About this Event
Using rubrics helps clarify and communicate your expectations to your students and make for a simpler, faster, and fair grading process. In this introductory-level workshop, we’ll present different types of rubrics, review rubric design best practices, and guide you through beginning to create a rubric to use in a course. We will also discuss un-rubrics, which are designed to promote student self-assessment and meta-learning. This workshop counts towards the completion of the Achievement in Pedagogy Badge.
