My laboratory’s mission is to provide fundamental mechanistic insights into oocyte chromosome segregation. We seek to understand why female meiosis is especially susceptible to errors, and to define the origins of age-related egg aneuploidy. In this talk, I will discuss our recent discoveries of actin-based structures that prevent egg aneuploidy.
