Cybersecurity Scarehouse

Free admission with Pitt student ID!

Heeere's Scarehouse!

Pitt IT invites students to experience the Cybersecurity Scarehouse—a frighteningly good opportunity to learn essential tips for safe computing, while having a scary good time. This special Halloween event marks the culmination of National Cyber Security Awareness month.

Do you want to play a game?

Enter the ballroom to collect passport stamps at information tables about security updates and patches, strong passwords, spam and phishing scams, social media awareness, virus protection, and more. Brave souls may continue onward to navigate the haunted Scarehouse.

Along the way, treat yourself to snacks, play games, and win prizes while supplies last. Plus, get Outside the Classroom Curriculum (OCC) credit for attending and a cool T-shirt.

Whatever you do, don't fall asleep and miss this great event!

Thursday, October 31 at 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
