The Center for Urban Education (CUE) invites you to the 2025 Summer Educator Forum (CUESEF) from June 25-27 at the University of Pittsburgh and the Greenway Professional Learning Center. This year’s theme is "Critical Pedagogy in Action: Urban Education as a Tool for Justice."

 

Designed for students, faculty, and practicing educators, CUESEF is a unique opportunity to engage with critical conversations about urban education and social justice.

Event Highlights:

  • Multiple educator workshops focused on timely & pressing matters in urban education
  • Daily guided debriefs for deep learning and reflection

Keynote Speakers:

  • Dr. H. Richard Milner, IV (Vanderbilt University) - A leading scholar in urban education, examining classroom dynamics, teacher practices, and equity (Speaking June 25)
  • Dr. Adrienne Dixson (Penn State University) - A distinguished education policy researcher (Speaking June 26)

CUESEF is open to all people with an interest in improving education and community engagement. There is no cost to participate.
