Critical Making

To create a sense of community among makers on campus, teaching assistant Sophie Tayade from Dr. Zach Horton’s Critical Making course hosts an event for students and faculty to share their projects and learn about makerspaces on campus.

This maker meet-up starts with presentations, including a brief overview of current maker spaces open to students. Sophie will then present projects from Dr. Horton's Critical Making course. There will also be time for 2-3 students to present or give a demonstration to the group, and breakout rooms where students can share more of their work, ask questions, and do a few activities to break through creative blocks and foster creativity.

This is a great event for anyone interested in meeting other makers, presenting work or projects, or looking for some inspiration.
