It's a time of year when corks are popping: don't throw them out! Let us show you some ideas to repurpose them. From keyrings to memo boards to photo/placecard holders, experiment with sustainable reuse and have fun doing it.
Food and drink provided (nothing with corks, though!) with demos running from 11:30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
RSVPs encouraged but not required: signing up helps us to estimate refreshments and supplies. All materials provided.
We're shining a light on reuse and sustainability with this event, so we're also suggesting a donation of gently-worn clothing for Thriftsburgh if you can.
Thriftsburgh is a student-run thrift store that encourages students to think about how to reuse and recycle in a whole new light by selling secondhand clothes, helping to reduce textile waste, cut carbon, and promote a culture of re-use on campus.
Thriftsburgh especially needs men's and gender-neutral clothing, plus sizes, and winter accessories (hats, gloves, scarves). Drop off donations to us at the event, or anytime before during regular Workshop hours.
