Whether we’re designing a course, module, lesson, or webinar, starting the learning design process with measurable objectives will foster more coherent and effective instruction. By articulating what learners will be able to do at the end of a learning experience, we ensure that learning is focused and more useful to our learners. Additionally, we can avoid learner confusion and frustration by making sure that objectives closely align with content and assessments.
