DESCRIPTION:Please join us in a conversation about the future of the COSA s
 pecialization on Monday\, June 30th from Noon to 4 PM in Room 2017 in the 
 Cathedral of Learning. We have done a lot of work over the last few years 
 getting feedback students\, faculty and alumni and updating our individual
  COSA courses. Now your voices and perspectives are needed to help us deve
 lop a vision for the overall COSA specialization to respond to the evolvin
 g landscape of macro-level social work practice.\n\nIn this interactive se
 ssion we will build on our prior efforts through a visioning and mapping p
 rocess to explore:\n\nA shared vision for the overall COSA specializationE
 merging societal trends that shape macro practiceThe alignment of our curr
 iculum with the nine COSA competencies developed for our reaccreditation p
 rocess with the Council on Social Work Education Katherine McDonald and Pr
 iscilla Rodriguez\, current COSA students in the Group/Intergroup class\, 
 will facilitate a COSA visioning process using Futures Thinking and Interg
 roup Dialogue to ensure that everyone is heard.  Dr. Suzanne Priztker\, As
 sociate Dean for Academic Affairs\, and I will facilitate the mapping proc
 ess where we will assess the alignment of our curriculum and vision with o
 ur nine COSA competencies. All voices are needed because your experiences 
 are critical to this conversation and re-envisioning COSA.\n\nWe would gre
