The Office of International Services (OIS) is presenting the following Cultural Dialogues series as part of the Year of Discourse and Dialogue. In these sessions, a Pitt faculty member will briefly discuss the concepts behind the topics and the framework of American experiences. After the presentation, participants will have lunch and enjoy the opportunity to discuss how the subject is understood in their home culture.

Safety concerns vary widely from one culture to another, we will discuss the role of police and different safety concerns in the U.S. This will be followed by a conversation about safety issues in your culture and role of the police.
