Conscientious Objection in Critical Care Medicine: Ethical & Conceptual Challenges

Bioethicist Mark R. Wicclair, PhD, will deliver the 5th Annual Endowed Lectureship in Ethics & Decision Making at Grand Rounds for the Department of Critical Care Medicine. His research focuses on some of healthcare's thorniest issues including conscientious objection, surgeons' discretion, end of life decision-making, and research and teaching with recently deceased patients. He is professor of Philosophy, Emeritus at WVU and adjunct professor of Medicine at Pitt.
