Perspectives from Faculty at Pitt

This pre-conference workshop offers close-up sessions with selected faculty who will present their community-engaged work at the 2020 Community Engaged Scholarship Forum on Tuesday, March 3 at the William Pitt Union. Come and learn about opportunities and challenges in doing community engagement work with students and others. Obtain resources that can strengthen networking with community partners.

In this session participants will:

  • Interact with faculty who have successfully integrated community engagement into their curriculum/classroom
  • Learn about community engagement opportunities and resources around Pittsburgh
  • Acquire ideas on collaborative community engagement projects

Lunch is provided and seating is limited. Registration for workshops is mandatory which ensures distribution of pre-workshop materials and accurate attendance records.
