Community Engaged Scholarship Forum

This photo was taken last year, before Covid-19 restrictions were put in place.

With the leadership of Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor Ann E. Cudd and Senior Vice Chancellor Kathy Humphrey, the Community Engaged Scholarship Forum annually celebrates the diversity of community-engaged work across the University of Pittsburgh. It is where faculty, students, staff, and community members come to present their community-engaged work, discover new avenues of partnership, network with those who do similar work and celebrate Pitt's commitment to community engagement.

In 2021, as part of Pitt's Year of Engagement, the third annual forum—“Progress Through Partnerships: Advancing Community Resilience”—will be held as a virtual event on March 2, 2021.

Additionally, the Senior Vice Chancellor for Engagement’s Partnerships of Distinction Award is conferred annually at the Community Engaged Scholarship Forum. This award recognizes outstanding partnerships that are exemplars of community engagement. Honorees demonstrate reciprocity, mutual benefit and significant community impact.

Registration is now open: Register online through Accelevents.

Tuesday, March 2 at 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
