Community Café with Candidates for District 24

This is a past event.

Join us for our final Community Café of the spring semester at the CEC in Homewood for a panel discussion with candidates running for the April 5th special election for Mayor Ed Gainey’s former State House seat in District 24. Moderating this discussion will be Julia Kreutzer, a senior at the University of Pittsburgh studying political science, English writing, and theatre arts. Julia’s work and research aims to intersect artistic expression and political advocacy with a focus on interrogating the barriers that bar us from engaging substantively with the democratic process. After graduation, Julia plans to continue her work in political communication in the Pittsburgh area.

This event is open to all students, community members, faculty, and staff!

Register here to attend. (link: https://pitt.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bxbiihbPt2EMp9k)
