Food for Thought with Dr. Sergio Gonzalez

During this session, Dr. Gonzalez will guide us through how he makes meaning of Jotería Intuition. Drawing on Cultural Intuition (Delgado Bernal, 1998), Queer Intuition (Revilla, 2010), and Sexto Sentido Methodology (García-Louis, 2024), the concept of Jotería Intuition emerges as a multidimensional, liberatory, and emotionally grounded approach to research. Jotería Intuition can be defined as a complex, decolonial methodology that merges the experiential and collective framework of Cultural Intuition with the non-heteronormative focus of Queer Intuition, grounded in the spiritual and visceral guidance of Sexto Sentido Methodology, to create relational and vulnerable research spaces.

A complimentary lunch will be served at 12pm. See you there!
