Jacob Jolliff is a contemporary mandolinist known for his work with Joy Kills Sorrow, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Béla Fleck. His current ensemble The Jacob Jolliff Band is a group of virtuosic pickers that play original instrumentals as well as showcase Jacob's singing. They tour nationally in the US and have also travelled to Scotland and Australia to perform. The group has released two albums, “Instrumentals Vol. 1” in 2018 and “The Jacob Jolliff Band” in 2022.

This clinic will feature demonstrations of traditional bluegrass and jazz and how to tactfully blur the lines between genres. Breakdowns of original JJB compositions and an extensive Q&A will also be included.

Open to participants of all ages and experience levels!
