JENNIFER SMOKELIN WILL PRESENT SMBS WITH A FRAMEWORK THAT GUIDES THEM TO DEVELOPING A STRATEGY FOR NAVIGATING CLIMATE REGULATION.

The University of Pittsburgh Center for Sustainable Business is proud to host Jennifer Smokelin, Esquire, partner at Reed Smith and Pitt Law adjunct professor for a strategy primer. She will present a framework that small and medium businesses can use to develop their company strategy for navigating the dynamic and uneven climate legislative landscape.

The strategy primer will cover:

  • Why have there been increasing policies, laws, and litigation when it comes to climate?
  • How can uncertainties regarding these new laws be navigated? 
  • What resources are available and how can you implement them?

This event is recommended for: 

  • Risk management teams
  • In house legal teams
  • Business strategy teams

This is a hybrid event, and online attendees will receive a zoom link closer to the event date. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees, please contact us with any access or dietary needs.

  • Virtual attendance $5
  • In person attendance $10
  • 1 Continuing Law Education (CLE) credit is available for attending this event. The processing fee for the CLE is $30.
