
The University of Pittsburgh Police Citizens Police Academy is a free, interactive 10-week training program available to Pitt students, faculty and staff, in partnership with the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management.
Participants will meet weekly to learn about the criminal justice system and gain insights about everyday police work, encompassing a variety of topics including criminal law, firearms, DUI procedures, report writing, traffic stops and more.
All participants will receive a program certificate upon completion.
