About this Event
This opportunity is for any Pitt student at any level to step in and learn about the concepts, disciplines, and frameworks underpinning innovative and entrepreneurial action. During the series, you will meet and hear from individuals who have created their own opportunities to be the change they want to see in the world. You will also find yourself surrounded by like-minded, highly-motivated individuals as part of your semester cohort.
Students who enroll and complete the series (including all participation and assignment-based requirements) will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and are eligible to join the next cohort of the Big Idea Center’s formal recognition opportunity – The ChangeMaker Scholar Program.
Who can join?
Any currently enrolled Pitt student (undergraduate through postdoc) of any discipline who wants to learn how to create and impact change.
What does it cost?
This program is free to Pitt students. The only “cost” is your time and effort!

*Please note: This program is a 5-part education opportunity that requires active participation and completion of course-related content. In order to receive a Certificate of Completion and be eligible to participate in the ChangeMaker Scholar recognition program, each individual must:
