Caretique is an interdisciplinary virtual space where creators can strengthen their work and help others do the same!

If you want to get feedback on a creative project, improve your making skills, or sharpen your creative conversation, Caretique is for you.

Short stories, poetry, short films and plays (under 10 minutes), 2D and 3D designs, and music compositions are all welcome!

Here's how it works:

  • Register for a session and submit the work you'd like feedback on by 5 p.m. EDT on the Monday before the Caretique. You can submit work by email to creative@pitt.edu (If your file is too large to share, just email us for additional upload instructions.)
  • By Tuesday, the pieces for the upcoming Caretique will be available to all registered participants to view, read, or listen to via Box. We'll also give you some questions to help you think about and guide conversation on other creators' work.
  • At our Wednesday Zoom session, come ready to talk about the work by your Caretique partners and get feedback on your own!

You might get a painter's perspective on your poem, or a musician's thoughts on your collage. It's all about considering and sharing perspectives in a supportive environment: not a "critique," but a Caretique!

Required materials: your work/work-in-progress
