“Camp On Campus” is an exhibit of the aesthetic, critically queer practice of “camp.” Inspired by Susan Sontag’s definition of camp, this exhibit of art, fashion, film, and more celebrates the naïveté and exuberance of artists across the ages. Camp celebrates the bold, the extravagant, and the fact that, sometimes, something can be good because it is bad. Please join us as we praise style over content, flamboyance over clarity, and spectacle over functionality in this aesthetic exhibit presented by students in “Sexuality and Representation” (ENGLIT).
