This session will explore how oppressed peoples can begin and continue to heal from centuries of harm and traumatizing structural and interpersonal forces, and do so in ways that both acknowledge injury while also leveraging the collective strengths of these enduring and thriving communities. This session’s featured speaker is Dr. Anneliese Singh, who studies social change and resilience in order to learn what builds just and empowering communities.  The session will be moderated by Jay E. Darr, Ph.D., the Director of the University Counseling Center.
