About this Event
Fifth Ave at Bigelow, Pittsburgh, 15213
Please join us in the Humanities Center for a book duet featuring Alex Taylor (History of Art and Architecture) and his Forms of Persuasion: Art and Corporate Image in the 1960s together with Adam Lowenstein (English) and his Horror Film and Otherness. This is part of a new Humanities Center series that brings books recently published by Pitt faculty into conversation. Taylor and Lowenstein will select excerpts from each other's books for discussion, and they will be available at the Humanities Center's shared folder. This event will be hybrid, so you can attend it either in person in 602 CL or via Zoom as you prefer. In preparation for this event, please review excerpts from both books available here.
Please let us know if you require an accommodation in order to participate in this event. Accommodations may include live captioning, ASL interpreters, and/or captioned media and accessible documents from recorded events. At least 5 days in advance is recommended.
