Lada Šoljan
Legal Officer in the Immediate Office of the Prosecutor
International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY)
Lada Šoljan has been practicing in the field of international criminal law since mid-2005. She is currently a Legal Officer in the Immediate Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY). She previously served in both the Appeals and Trial Divisions, prosecuting cases involving military, political and police leaders at both the trial and appellate levels, including in relation to the Srebrenica genocide, and has lectured widely on different international humanitarian and international criminal law topics, including on witness interview skills and the investigation and prosecution of sexual and gender-based violence crimes. She is currently a contributor to the Prosecuting conflict-related Sexual Violence (PSV) Network in the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP).
