About this Event
3959 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15260
https://pitt.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_23J3On0FLd4RQBUIncreasing the number of underrepresented and minority students who become health care professionals is a key component to ensuring health equity in our communities. Current students in the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Physician Assistant Studies Program created this event to share more information about health care careers with undergraduate students from underrepresented and minoritized backgrounds. Seeing yourself in the lived experiences and faces of folks currently pursuing those careers can help to validate your goals and improve your understanding of the different health care careers available. Our panel of Pitt students are studying to become physicians, physician assistants, dentists, and occupational therapists. They will share their stories, answer questions, and improve understanding of the role they will fulfill on patient care teams. This event is also supported by the Pre-Health Resource Center. We hope to see you there!
