Instagram offers a way to combine words and images into a new kind of creative experience: think beyond Instapoems!
We'll look at different ways writers use this unique platform, and combine writing prompts and exercises with your own photographs to explore creative connections between visual and written art.
Please note: this program takes place in Hillman Library's Digital Scholarship Commons. No prior writing or photography experience is required: amateurs and beginners welcome!
Facilitated by Erik Schuckers, Center for Creativity: The Workshop. Erik is a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee whose writing has appeared in PANK, Assaracus, Impossible Archetype, The James Franco Review, Chelsea Station, and elsewhere.
Tuesday, March 3 at 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
