Becoming a Grading Guru | Part Three

This is a past event.

Designing Better Test Questions

This workshop will explore how to create better objective test questions (true/false, multiple choice, matching, fill in the blank) and practice composing test questions which are both clear and rigorous. We recommend that participants enroll in the first workshop: The Grading Process and Providing Feedback which provides an overview of grading best practices and foundational ideas that will be relevant in this series.

This is the third of the three Becoming a Grading Guru series. The series include:

  • The Grading Process and Providing Feedback
  • Designing Rubrics
  • Designing Better Test Questions

Participants may complete the entire series or choose individual workshops to develop specific knowledge and skills. Workshops in this series may count towards completion of the Pedagogy Badge.

Registration for workshops is mandatory which ensures distribution of pre-workshop materials and accurate attendance records.

Please contact teaching@pitt.edu for any special accommodation needs.

Monday, March 2 at 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
