Understanding how early traumatic experiences impact child and adolescent development, identity, and behavior is critical to providing quality individual care in a variety of settings. This training will explore the impact of child trauma on brain development, personality, relationships, and behavior. It will also provide a detailed discussion regarding how early attachments impact mental health and the influence of intergenerational trauma on child and family functioning.
