Authorship Agreements

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute's (CTSI) Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Center offers workshops as a resource for researchers and trainees. The RCR Center workshops are available to help you achieve your training goals and to support your research activities here at the University of Pittsburgh.

Authorship Agreements, presented by Colleen Mayowski, EdD, MLIS, University of Pittsburgh Institute for Clinical Research Education.

What is an Authorship Agreement? Do you really need one? In this session, we’ll look at several examples of authorship misconduct highlighted in the scientific literature, share evidence of the need for an authorship agreement at the University of Pittsburgh, and provide an Authorship Agreement template that you can customize for your own use.

This RCR workshop will take place at Forbes Tower, in conference room 7039. Click here to register.

View the RCR workshop schedule for other opportunities.
